The following error prompts when the sensor reports that it has not received enough radiation for best image quality results.
How to turn the warning off
If you are configuring the sensor for the first time, it is recommended that you setup the sensor with default image quality settings with the following guide. If you are only looking to turn the warning off, continue with the below steps.
Click one of the following dropdowns based on the software you are using.
XVCapture/DCV
- At the main menu select Advanced User Tools > Preferences
- Input the password. By default the password is AKRON
- Once inside the preferences, select 'Imaging Extensions' on the left hand toolbar
- Click the red caret (>) next to Digital X-ray Image Capture and select the TuxedoASeries Digital X-ray extension
- select Hardware settings
- Uncheck the "Enable underexposure detection" box
XrayVision
- Click the Tools menu at the top, then select Hardware Options
- Double click on TuxedoASeries
- Uncheck the "Enable underexposure detection" box
XVLite
- From the main patients list of XVLite, select Preferences from the left-hand menu [this may require scrolling down the left-hand menu].
- Click on the Sensor option from the left-hand menu.
- Double click "TuxedoASeries" in the list of Digital X-ray Sensor Settings
- Uncheck the "Enable underexposure detection" box
