The compare tool is a useful tool to allow you to view images side by side. For example, some offices may want to use the compare tool to review the before and after of treatment or restoration.
Video Walkthrough
- Begin by viewing the first image/series you would like to compare
- If you plan to compare with enhancements on, toggle those now by selecting Enhance, then custom or Auto depending on the enhancement you would like to use.
- On the left hand toolbar click the 'Select' button.
The button will highlight indicating that anything you click will be selected.
- Click on the first series/image you wish to select.
- For series, select the entire series by clicking the thumbnail on the left hand toolbar. The study will gain a colored border indicating it has been selected.

- Click the 'Select' tool to turn off selection mode.
- Navigate to and click on the second series/image you wish to select.
- If you plan to compare with enhancements on, toggle those now by selecting Enhance, then custom or Auto depending on the enhancement you would like to use.
- Once again, on the left hand toolbar click the 'Select' button.
- Click on the second series/image you wish to select.
- Click the 'Select' tool to turn off selection mode.
- On the right hand toolbar, click 'Compare'
