This article is designed to provide a generic guide to installing/updating an Imaging Bridge, which is a connection that DataGrabber can use to point to and launch a specific 3rd party imaging software. Perform the following steps to download and install/update an Imaging Bridge:
- Download the appropriate Imaging Bridge from the Apteryx Updates Page under the section Imaging Bridges (Launched Applications).
- Make sure that all instances of DataGrabber have been closed.
- Run the downloaded upgrader EXE file as Administrator by right-clicking the file and selecting Run as Administrator (most Imaging Bridges should be run from the server where the DataGrabber is installed)
- The Apteryx Application Upgrader should populate and may ask the location of the Apteryx software, select Yes on all prompts, and as long as it ends stating # file(s) successfully upgraded / No errors, then click Finish.
- Re-launch DataGrabber and test.
- Some Imaging Bridges may have some options that may need toggled in order to avoid errors (such as changing the DOB format). These settings can be accessed by right-clicking on the DataGrabber icon in the Windows Task Tray and selecting Customize > Launched Applications

double-click on the listed launched application needing settings changed, adjust any settings necessary, and then click on the OK button(s) until the Launchable Applications window has been closed.
