This article provides answers to frequently asked questions about requesting and retrieving image data from Apteryx during the offboarding process. It covers how data is delivered, file formats, security measures, access timelines, and what to expect during the request process. Whether you're preparing for a vendor transition or simply need a copy of your imaging data, this guide will walk you through the essentials.
- How is the data being sent?
- Data will be sent via SFTP. Credentials will be created in Microsoft Azure. A URL/Host, username, and password is provided to the client in the ticket.
- What is the size of the file being sent?
- The size of the file will vary depending on how much historical data you have. If you need to know the exact amount of space needed, Apteryx Support can verify this for you.
- Is the file secure?
- Yes, there is a password to access the SFTP share as well as a password on the Zip files
- What format will my data be in?
- The images are in DICOM format stored in multi-part zip files.
- How long do I have to access my data?
- You will have 60 days from the date the export was uploaded to the SFTP site before it is automatically removed from SFTP
- How long does it take once my request has been submitted?
- It can take 48-72 business hours from submitted request to Data Return Team after all documentation has been executed
- Can we do a Delta extract?
- No, we cannot complete a delta pull. We would need to do a full pull each time we extract the images. If a client wants a few test images to see if their new vendor system can use our DICOM images, they can do the same thing by following one of the below guides and exporting some images as DICOM:
