Please click and read this section if you use shared accounts (not recommended) to log in to XVWeb or if you are unsure.
Anytime you have trouble logging in, it is best to understand first if the issue impacts multiple computers/users or not. While shared XVWeb Logins are strongly advised against, some integrations require a shared login to XVWeb in the PMS bridge settings or saved in the browser. If that shared login works on other PCs, then you may simply need help saving the shared account's username and password in the browser's settings on your PC. If you reset a shared account's password when it works for other users, you would take down access to XVWeb for all users using that shared login and may require updating the password in the PMS bridge or the browser on each PC accessing XVWeb.
Depending on who has access to XVWeb and what user has forgotten their password, there are many possible ways to go about getting your password reset. From the options below, select what kind of user you are:
Standard/Permanent users

I am not the admin in charge of my XVWeb, and have forgotten my password
- If you have an individual user account tied to your email address and know your username, follow these steps:
- Navigate to your XVWeb address
- Select Reset Your Password
- Enter your username
- Enter your email address
- Click on the Reset Button
- If you know who owns your admin account, contact them and request that they reset your password
- If you are unaware of who your admin is please refer to the 'I am not the admin in charge of this XVWeb, and I do not know who my admin' is section below
- If you have an individual user account tied to your email address and know your username, follow these steps:

I am not the admin in charge of this XVWeb, and have forgotten my username
- If you know who owns your admin account, contact them and notify them that you have forgotten your username. They will be able to see what username belongs to your account.
- If you are unaware of who your admin is please refer to the 'I am not the admin in charge of this XVWeb, and I do not know who my admin' is section below.

- If you are unaware of who your admin is, submit a ticket with Support, and we can notify you what the email address is for your admin user.
Admin users (account has admin privilege)

I am an admin in charge of my XVWeb, and need to know how to reset my user’s logins
- Navigate to your XVWeb address
- Login
- Select your username in the top right and choose Users
- Single-click on a user to select
- Click on Reset Password button found on the right of the screen
Primary Admin users (username is admin)

I am the primary admin in charge of my XVWeb, and have forgotten my password
- Navigate to your XVWeb address
- Select Reset Your Password
- Username for the admin account is always "admin"
- Enter your email address
- Click on the Reset Button

I am the primary admin in charge of my XVWeb, and have forgotten my username
- All XVWeb primary admin accounts have the username "admin"
ADFS Users

My account uses ADFS and I have forgotten my login information
- Contact the IT department for your office, or whoever maintains your ADFS credentials
