Welcome to the XVWeb Analytics Dashboard! This powerful new tool provides valuable insights into your practice's imaging activities, helping you understand trends, identify coaching opportunities, and monitor equipment usage across all of your locations.
This guide will walk you through the key sections of the dashboard and explain the data you can find in each.
Accessing the Dashboard
To access the dashboard, simply click your username in the top right corner of XVWeb and select Analytics from the dropdown menu.
Please note: You must be an administrator on your XVWeb account to have access to the Analytics Dashboard.
The data in the Analytics Dashboard is updated nightly. The metrics you see will reflect all activity up to the end of the previous day.
Understanding the Main Sections
The dashboard is organized into several key sections, which you can access from the left-hand navigation menu. At the top right of most pages, you'll also find a Location Filter, allowing you to view data for all locations or drill down to a specific one.
1. Capture Station
This section focuses on the physical workstations where images are captured. It helps you understand which stations are used most frequently.
- The list view shows each capture station's name, its first and last acquisition dates, and the total number of acquisitions and retakes performed on that station.
- Using the dropdown menu at the top of the list, you can toggle the view between your Active and Retired capture stations.
2. Device
This section provides a complete inventory of all imaging devices (sensors, intraoral cameras, scanners, etc.) sending images to your XVWeb system. Use this section to track the usage of each asset and monitor its activity over time.
3. Operator
This section allows you to analyze performance and trends on a per-operator basis.
- You'll see a list of all operators, with columns for their first acquisition, most recent acquisition, total number of acquisitions, and total number of retakes.
- Below the list, the "Acquisitions per Operator" bar chart provides a powerful visual comparison of your team's volume and retake rates, helping you identify top performers and potential coaching opportunities.
4. Acquisitions
This section gives you a high-level overview of all imaging activity. It's broken down into two views: "Acquisition Metrics" and "Acquisition List."
Acquisition Metrics View This is your main dashboard, showing trends and summaries at a glance.
- Recent Acquisition Activity: A line graph showing the number of new images (Acquisitions) versus the number of Retakes over the past month. This helps you spot trends in daily volume and retake rates.
- Total Acquisition Activity: An area chart showing the cumulative growth of acquisitions and retakes over the past month.
Acquisition List View This view provides a detailed, sortable list of every individual acquisition. It includes information like the date, time, type, and teeth involved. You can click "View" to see the specific image.
5. Locations
This section provides a location-by-location breakdown of the key metrics from the main Acquisitions dashboard. It's perfect for practices with multiple offices.
- You can toggle between different data views for your locations, including Acquisition Activity, Series Modalities, and Anatomic Regions, allowing for direct comparison of performance and trends across your different sites.
