Note: XrayVision 3 is no longer a supported software by Apteryx Imaging as of Dec 31, 2021 and can no longer be registered as of Dec 31. 2022. (ref: Sunset Announcement of XrayVision). As this platform can no longer be registered, the product will not be able to be licensed after a server migration.
If performing a server migration of XrayVision 4, please collect your registration number(s) by following our article on Finding Active Registration Numbers in XrayVision, then submit a ticket requesting those registration numbers be converted to token. (the ticket should contain the registration numbers to converted).

Copy XrayVision folder from old server to new server (either over network or through thumbdrive/flashdrive)

On the new server - right click the transferred folder and open Folder Properties

Share Folder (Sharing Tab) > Advanced Sharing
- Check the box for 'Share this folder'
- Select Permissions and check the box for Full Control > OK
- Select Caching and choose the option 'No files or programs...' > OK > OK

Edit Permissions (Security Tab)
- Select Edit > Add
- Type “everyone”
- Check the box for Full Control > OK
Click OK to close properties

Share Folder (Sharing Tab) > Advanced Sharing
- Open the installation folder and open the program (typically XVAssistant.exe)

Register Product
- submit a ticket containing all active registration numbers collected prior to migration so our team can convert them to token. A technician will reach out to you to install the token licensing.
- On each PC, update your local Shortcuts to match the new server path.
