Apteryx does not retain a built-in backup solution. Backing up your software must be done with third party tools, or by copying the data to an external hard-drive periodically. If you are unfamiliar with these processes, please ensure this is completed by a knowledgeable I.T. professional.
Using live backup software like OneDrive may interfere with software usability, and can lead to instability, crashing, or data loss.

XVCapture/DCV and Rebrands
Data is automatically update on your XVWeb website which is held in the cloud. Additional local backups should target the overall installation directory on the server/PC. E.g.:"C:\Apteryx" or "C:\XVCapture"The above path contains an example path of the highest parent directory. You may consider backing up only the images. However, we would recommend targeting the highest parent directory for backup due to the parent directories containing valuable data like registration, configurations, and imaging extensions at little storage overhead cost.
XrayVision/XVLite
