Overview

This guide covers the geographical regions permitted for use with Apteryx products.

Allowed Countries

Because it presents medical images for the purpose of medical diagnoses, Apteryx itself is considered a Medical Device.

For this reason, Apteryx can only be used for patients within the following countries which recognize its certification:

• United States (US Food and Drug Administration, Device #00685031000047)
• Canada (Health Canada recognizes the US FDA Device Certification)

Non-Diagnostic Allowed Countries

Additionally the following countries may access Apteryx in Production, but only for the specific reasons indicated:

• Bangladesh (Denticon Offshore Dev/QA Team)
• France (Carestream Developers)
• Great Britain & The United Kingdom (Carestream Support Team)
• India (Denticon Offshore Dev/QA Team)

Disallowed Countries

Access from any other countries is restricted. Attempting to access an Apteryx Site from an IP address in any other country will cause the front-end of Apteryx to reject all requests.
