We are strengthening our XVWeb AI integrations massively! This update aims to enhance user experience by implementing significant interface improvements, refining AI menus and interactions, and accelerating image loading times. We are excited to bring these new features to all organizations that are using AI embedded feedback within XVWeb.
What has stayed the same?
- Preferred pathologies are still remembered by your computer
- Overlays are manually toggleable within the panel
- Overlays have an indication displaying its current state (green checkmark = success, yellow triangle = error)
- Request and response times accurately reflect when images were sent to your AI vendor and when findings returned for your image
- Requesting results, and Clear & Re-requesting new results has no change in its behavior
- AI panel is displayed when comparing images that have AI findings
XVWeb Improvements (already available):
We figured "why wait?" so we have brought all customers several improvements already, so even if you don't use AI, there's something to be excited about.
- Series preview thumbnails load twice as fast
- Images load twice as fast
- Informational layout tile text (beneath images) is legible at all zoom levels, and scale when zooming in/out.
- Improved AI icons
New and Additional Features:
Note: A "How to use" button is available at the top of the AI panel to provide a walkthrough and explanation of the features.
- Detection Dots
Series Preview Bar thumbnails display colored icon(s) to indicate AI findings in the series
- AI Panel
Findings Categories - AI Panel categorizes findings into Pathology and Non-Pathology types and permits the toggling off/on of the entire category.
- Preferred findings - A star button will exist to set preferred findings. These findings will display on the computer every time a series is loaded if data of that type exists.
- Please note that the default behavior of XVWeb is to display ALL returned findings when no preferred findings have been selected.
- If you wish to hide certain findings, you will need to click the star next to at least one finding in order to hide the undesired findings by default. Use the star on all findings you wish to see, then the unchecked ones will not display unless you manually toggle them on.
- Preferred Findings are browser specific. This means on every browser on every computer you can have unique sets of preferred findings selected.
- Results at a glance - When a finding is toggled on, the toggle's color will indicate the finding type to easily correlate the AI data to its pathology.
- Count of findings - Now, the number of findings will be displayed next to the finding type.
- Tooltips, and Wrong Detection
- Hovering over AI overlays displays a tooltip containing additional details associated with the finding.
- Easily remove findings that you disagree with by selecting the trash icon in the tooltip that displays.
