Importing Images - XVLite

Importing images into XVLite is surprisingly simple. The steps listed below will help walk you through the process of importing single images and importing into layouts using the XVLite software.

Importing Single Images:

1. Open XVLite
2. Click on the patient name you wish to import images into (utilizing the Search Criteria if necessary)
3. Select View Images from the left sidebar
4. Click on View Images For All Teeth in the updated left sidebar
5. Select Import Images at the bottom of the aforementioned sidebar
   
6. Navigate to the file location of the image to be imported
7. Click on the image file to select it and click on the Open button
   
8. Select Yes - Add these files to the patient (if you want to remove the file from the imported location, check the On successful move, delete original file checkbox first)
   

Importing into Layouts:

1. Open XVLite
2. Click on the patient name you wish to import images into (utilizing the Search Criteria if necessary)
3. Select Take X-ray from the left sidebar
4. Click on Take An Automated X-ray Series in the updated left sidebar
5. Select the desired layout from the layout listings
6. On the Layout/Progression Capture window, click on Take/Retake From
7. Select From File
   
8. Navigate to the file location of the images to be imported
9. Click on the image file desired for this tile to select it and click on the Open button
   
10. Repeat steps 6 through 9 on each remaining tile
