Purpose:
This guide covers configuring the DICOM Image Forwarding to the Apteryx PACS server in XVCapture. The default configuration settings are used where XVCapture automatically forwards the images and removes protected health information from the local computer once confirmation that the images have been permanently stored.
Note: This guide covers XVCapture version 3.5 and higher.
Process:
- Open XVCapture
- Click on Advanced User Tools in lower left.
- Click Preferences.
- Enter admin password AKRON
- Select Image Forwarding on the left panel.
- Below are the suggested Image Forwarding settings:
- Scroll down to the Images should be forwarded to the following servers: section and place a checkmark next to the Server. Normally this is XVWeb, but may vary:
- Click OK.
- Click Yes.
- Click Yes.
