Importing 3D Images - XVCapture/DCV

The steps listed below will help walk you through the process of importing 3D Images using the XVCapture/DCV software.

If you are attempting to upload an STL file, please upload the file directly into XVWeb using the import function.

1. 1. Importing CT Volumes requires the CT Importer extension for XVCapture/DCV.
      • Make sure XVCapture/DCV is closed for this installation.
      • Navigate to the Current Downloads Page and choose Apteryx - CT Importer
      • Install the downloaded file (may require being run as administrator).
   2. Open XVCapture/DCV.
   3. Select Capture Images from the main screen.
   4. Select the desired patient (if not already bridged) and select Capture Images.
   5. Under General Image Capture, select Image Importer.
   6. Use the Import CTs window to import the desired file(s).
      •  Enter the path containing the CT volume(s) and select OK
   7. The program will list the found volume(s) and give you a notice of how many CT volumes have been imported.
